OEM Radio "Codes?" BQ, BS, BP?

So my CD changer is completely gone, I think i caused it when I took it out to install the Gateway MP3 conversion. It makes a noise that sounds like it cant catch a CD, so I thought I jumbled the discs around, followed Wrathernut video how to take it apart, took the CD's out and put it back in.....same noise.

My question: I notice different markings on top of the CD players with either BQ, BP, or BS. At the time before I knew I was going to buy another one, I didn't pay attention to what mine said and really dont want to take it apart again.

If these listings say "non-bose" stereo (which i have), does it matter which of these "codes" I buy?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Only like 5 different radios in the V35 cars:
1) Early 03 radios
2) Late 03 and 04 Non-bose
3) Late 03 and 04 Bose
4) 05-07 Coupe and 05-06 Sedan non-bose
5) 05-07 coupe and 05-06 Sedan Bose

My two CD-removal videos are different radios, 05 bose and 06 non-bose.

Thanks for the info!

I just double checked and mine is BQ. With that said, even if there are items listed as "05-07 G35 non-bose headunit" but have a different code, to probably stay away?

See above. Don't worry about codes, only year range and bose/non-bose.
