Pioneer CD-AH200C (Android Connection Kit)
Samsung MHL Adapter EPL-FU10BEBSTD

I would like to install a back-up camera as well. Just don't know what I need to have that going.

Any help would be great. Thanks everyone in advance.
Anyone ?

Its a little sluggish but its a nice head unit with beautiful resolution. I don't think you need the connector kits, they keep advertising these but you usually don't need them.

Is the barb really needed? I was just curious. You can say the same thing without the obligatory "I am putting my judging hat on - here's what I think of you" comment. Especially coming from a Staff member. Just a thought. Or is this is the generally accepted way of conversing here? Being a newbie and the above post being my second one in the forum, maybe I am not getting it.

So you honestly think that all I would need is the Head Unit itself without the connector kits? What I would like would be my steering wheel controls working with the Appradio.

Needed? No, but having a bit of personality on the forum makes it what it is. Yes, (unpaid, volunteer) staff members are allowed to have opinions, and punctuating that opinion with playful sarcasm is also allowed. If you're that easily offended, go back to skin growing class, you've obviously been ditching.

And yes my opinion is that if you're needing multiple driving aids just to back up a car with pretty good visibility, I don't want you backing up around my car. If you were adding them to an SUV with blind spots the size of small families, my opinion would be different.

You need these - Samsung adapter EPL-FU10BEBSTD and Pioneer adapter CD-AH200C.

Here's the site to reference for Gaxlaxy S4 to Appradio. It's like a whole website dedicated to that headunit:

Thank you, this helps a whole lot. However, ever since you told me about the Parrot Asteroid. I have been doing more research on that unit as well. I really appreciate your help, thanks again.

So I went into Bestbuy this weekend and looked at the Appradio 3 (DA210) which has the CD/DVD option. I have an automatic G35 and I'm afraid that when the screen slides out when putting in a CD that the screen will hit my shifter.

However, they do have an Appradio 3 (DA100) that does not have the CD/DVD option.

What are your thoughts guys?

If the cd slide out hits the shifter (it does) you can just push it back in lol. Literally push it back in no problem.

Lol, true. Just don't want the screen to break from it stopping from being completely open.

It doesn't break I'll make a video for you tonight, just for you to prove it doesn't break...

Shifter in D and it'll open fine, do you really listen to CDs or watch DVDs that often? a big selling point of the appradio is how well it works with more versatile storage options like an iPod, Android or USB drive.

You bring up a good point about the USB drive because I can load all my movies on a storage card.

The issue on the G is to find a spot to put that cord somewhere you can easily access. Might want to buy a 6-12" USB extender.
