Anyone know if this was a factory installed option? Bought the car with this antenna type thing on my roof and it says Sirius on it. I don't have Sirius radio and no desire to have it.

My factory antenna doesn't have the sirius logo on it, and didn't need a notch cut in the weatherstripping either. Probably aftermarket, and I wouldn't be surprised if they painted around it and that's the reason they didn't remove it when they removed the tuner from the car before they sold it.

had a feeling it was aftermarket, I don't see any Gs with it. Where is my factory antenna on an 06 coupe? I wanna take it off if it's useless cus I don't have Sirius radio, but I'm afraid it's for the normal radio too. So if u can point out where the factory antenna is then I can finally remove it. And actually I painted the black around it.

That is where the factory antenna goes, that's just not the same as the factory antenna I have. It is a satellite radio antenna, so you can remove it, they're usually connected with a strong magnet or trim tape. The factory fm/am antenna is built into the rear windshield glass.
