I removed my spare tire and now the trunk floor dips down a little but, I'm putting subs in and I don't want it to dip to far down and look bad. Anyone know how thick a false floor can be and still be able to cover the trunk with all the carpeting mats?

I have no idea.. Don't know weather aluminum or wood would be lighter or hold up better.

 

I don't get it. so u removed ur spare tire to put the subs in it?

 

Since I love in florida the humidity is high so the carpet and wood spare tire cover will start to bend because the pressure of the subs on top of it.
But I've found a sution I believe.

 

the foam cone shaped thing that sits on top of the spare tire should prevent sagging. is urs missing?
