Which sub should I get!

I'm looking at buying a new sub and I'm not sure what I should get. The three I have in mind are infinity kappa 100.9w($115), Rockford P3D4($118),or Kicker CVR. It's being put into a .75-.8 sealed enclosure. I used to have a kicker CVR but I'm looking for something with both bass and quality.

Amp: m500 alpine mono block 500watt rms

I'm also considering alpine type r and JL 3v10 ( around 225 for both)

I'm really liking the infinity kappa 100.9w what do you guys think will it get loud with good sound quality.

I mainly listen to rock/rap

You really need to read into reviews by Crutchfield, those are the most honest. Out of the three subs, Rockford fosgate typically goes above and beyond in sound quality.

If your going for sq and spl I would say jl or re if your more for sq you could go dls theyre low power but great sound quality. But out of the three your considering definitely the p3 Do you have a coupe or a sedan? If you have a coupe the p3 box may not leave you with much trunk space you could make a small box but sacrifice sq. A bigger box gives you a wider range of notes also the type of box makes a difference. But dont be one of those guys that just throws a big square in the middle of the trunk.

It's the coupe and its a 10 in, I'm currently in the process of making a custom trunk build so the box will be designed specifically for the sub.

Lol, I won't be one of those guys btw. I have the false floor already made with the amp mounted in the spare tire and a pc fan mounted for better air flow. I'm also frosting some plexiglass and mounting blue LED in it then hardwiring it into the trunk light switch.

It's comming out nice I'll post before and after pics, with a trunk guild on the forums when I'm done

I'm also considering the alpine R series but I heard there only good in a ported box and I prefer to stay sealed

I know what the 4080 box is but I prefer to build my own and save myself the 300-350

I currently have 2 Alpine Type R 12" speakers out of my burned Tahoe that I had in a ported box and im going to put them in 2 separate sealed boxes(185$ for both shipped, im waiting on them). I have two amps so I will probably only run one of each while I drive daily because of crap battery and stock alt. I will let you know how it sounds, I am eager to hear the difference between ported and sealed.

Picture is before I mounted the amps but ported sounds just as good as sealed IMO. But I did change from a SUV to a coupe...
