G35 stereo overhaul and a few questions
Oh I was under the impression I should amp the tweeters on a separate channel from what I've been reading about these speakers, I saw a few people say you really want to run 100w rms to get the full potential of the speaker, maybe I misenterprated and I'll just listen to you since you seem to know what your talking about
You only need about 25% coverage, so even 3 tiles per door is enough. another 5-6 for coverage in the trunk and rear deck.
Some awesome advice here Wrathernaut, thanks!
I'm about to start upgrading my sound system and I wanted to do something similar that you have suggested in this thread. I was going to go with the the Image Dynamics front components and a JL JX360/2 amp. I also want to do the sub + mono amp, but that's down the line when I get more cash money. My question is if I should keep the rears and 6x9s working between the time frame of installing the components and when I finally get around to getting a sub?

I'd like to pick up an JBL MS-8 and go to town tuning it, but I know that I listen to the car while driving, but since I haven't done some layers of mass-loaded vinyl and closed-cell foam throughout the car, I couldn't hear the improvement over some minor tweaking of the EQ.
