I've tried search, but all the old posts showing install pics have broken links for the pics... I'm looking for somebody that has done the double din conversion and then put a single din flip-out HU in the bottom DIN slot... with the screen out, i'm guessing/hoping that it would basically cover both DIN locations, but i just want to see how good/bad it looks compared to a double DIN screen like the Eclipse (which looks awesome)... i've already got a Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD so that would obviously be the cheapest thing for me to build my system around, but i won't do it if it looks tacky...

Hmmm...on my set up I have the HU on top and the processor's controller in the bottom din.

 

that's better than nothing, do you have a picture of that setup?

My Pioneer Avic-n1 Is In My Top Din. But Im Going To Move It To The Lower Din---then Install A Xenarc Touchscreen In The Navi Cubby With Godofcpu's Help.when They Are Both Extended , One Doesnt Block The Other....best Part Is That The Avic Retracts And The Xenarc Stowes Away In The Cubby-----no Screens Showing When Not In Use..ill Post Pics In A Couple Days.
