Do you currently have Bose?

If you don't have Bose, the PAC isn't necessary. Just need a metra 70-7550, as well as an Access ASWC-1 if you wanna keep steering wheel controls.

The appradio is only a great radio if you'll be using iPhone. Otherwise its just OK.

Look up wrathernauts double din shopping list thread. All the info you could ever need.

Sorry forgot to put that I do plan on keeping the Bose, had it in the previous TL and liked how it sounded. Getting a little to old to have subwoofers, plus not good for the kiddos.

Sorry Wrathernauts should have mentioned that I will be connecting a Samsung S4 to it and that I wanted a touchscreen type of unit.

I appreciate the help.

If you're going for a touchscreen unit, you need to upgrade your budget.

May be able to find a 6.2 inch screen for cheap. Anything with a 7" screen (like the app radio) is gonna be a minimum $400 tho.

With a small budget people look at things like boss for head units and they are just a rip off. Op stay away from the touch screen.

Yep. That's why I say to up the budget.

The non-touchscreen unit recommended has a nearly 5-star review for good reason. It may not play videos (illegal when driving anyway) or have a fancy touchscreen, but it's super reliable and easy to operate without looking at it.

Since any advanced functionality (navigation, Pandora, iHeartRadio, *sigh* movies *sigh*) is going to be better through your phone anyway, there's little reason to get a crappy version of that in a screen down low in the dash. Just rely on the headunit to handle the audio portion, and do everything you'd want a touchscreen through bluetooth to that headunit. Mount the phone in a good position and you're golden.
