Remote On Somewhere?
Remote On Somewhere?
Before I go crazy and throw my computer out of the window and drive my car into the ocean... well maybe I'll just throw my computer out the window, does anyone know which wire is the remote on (or power ant. on) at the bose amp? I've searched the web, this site, tried to get the online manual (I couldn't open more than the first 7 pages) etc. Anyway, I've got my LOC hooked up (4 channels), my sub box build for 2 JL 10's that I took out of my old car, Hiphonics 1000, a old school punch 150 that I may run my MB quartz mids and tweets with and I can't get the f'n amp to go on w/ the head unit power.
By the way, I studied the wiring diagrams, but the color designation for the remote on wire is not legible. It's the only one thats all blurred and stays blurred with all the photo manip. tools.
I started the intall on the mids and tweets last night, but am not sure what route to go. Install em and run them with the 150 (or other amp) or run them off the bose amp?
LOC after or before Bose Amp?
EQ or no EQ?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Terminal 5 (color: G/W) of the M40 connector coming out of the audio unit supplies a signal for the antenna amplifier.
Unknown: this signal may only be present when the radio is on.
I don't see a signal wire for specifically for a power antenna.

It is "ON" even if the radio is "OFF" - it directly reflects turning the ignition key on. My car pc uses that wire to turn on. It has been posted here in the past, but I admittedly also have a tough time finding old things in this site after the switch to the new "improved" software.
