Yea, there is. Have the nissan 350Z antenna put on by a good professional installer. Deal with the external antenna and F the window piece of crap.

Disconnect the amp to see if the problem goes away. I have seen amps cause this problem many times.

I did disconnect and the problem went away. I called JL audio and they said that this is a known problem for class D amplifiers in cars with interior antennas. He only had two suggestions: He said he heard of people wrapping the antenna amp w/foil?!?!?! He didn't know if it worked or not. The other suggestion was GET A NEW AMP! It kind of sucks cuz my JL W6 would sound best with the JL 500/1 amp. I don't know what to do!

The amp is on the driver's side in the rear of the pillar or the C pillar (even though there is no B pillar on a couple)The wire for the antenna runs along the pillar front to rear.

The have a good point with wrapping the amp with a shield to kill the induced EMF from the istalled AMP.

You could also put a noise suppressor on the ant amp power wire to clamp electrical noise coming into the amp.

The easiest I think would be to get the M3 roof external atenna. Easy to mount, hook up and looks good.

Don't forget about metallic window tint. If your rear window is tinted using a film with metal in it, your FM reception can go stinky on you. Ceramic-based films don't have that problem.
