Working on a tablet install
#31
Well I got it 90% done. The top bezel is a whole notha level of b!tch to do. I'm considering sending it off to get finished, as it is above my skill level. This is only the second tablet install I've ever done lol. Since it's almost done already, it shouldn't take 2 months to get finished right? haaa. We'll see. Here's some crappy night time pics and a video showing Tasker not doing it's job all the way(supposed to kill the screen after 7 seconds)
(youtube is being gay and muted my video. F*cking *****.)

I think I figured out how to tackle my issue with the top bezel. I'll cut a large wood block to the exact dimensions I want the screen trim to be, place it in the bezel, then bondo all around it, filling in all the gaps. Then I can just slowly sand the bondo away until the block is free and I should have a pretty square cutout. I'll tackle that next weekend. I'll be ordering an OBD2 BT reader soon here too.
