Reverse camera help..

Reverse camera help..
I recently installed my new head unit today everything works fine except the backup camera. I tapped both the reverse signal in the back of the headunit and power for camera to the reverse light in the back but no video comes up when I shift to reverse. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
