Im thinking of some really good focal front speakers and good tweets ran active........ has anyone done this with no rear speakers or just rear speakers hooked up to the radio, not amped.

I dont want more then one amp. Im gonna use a 5 channel....4 for tweets and mids and last channel for sub.

 

I've been running front soundstage only for years now (not active), I definitely prefer it.

You're going to have maybe 2-3 different amps with enough power to drive a decent sub to choose from when going 5-channel, so I recommend doing two amps, a four channel and a mono channel.

 

Ive never took the doors off, do you know if there is enough room for a 4 inch speaker right next to the 6.5

Im sitting in here looking at it and thought maybe go 3 way front components.
