Does it have instructions to install?

My sisters car has issues with headlight dimming when lowering windows and such.

 

Not to hard... Positive to positive negative to negative. It stores the power. I will check though.

 

This won't help you. You have a high resistance area some where in the system.

 

+1. Capacitors are for instantancous but short voltage drops caused by bass hitting the lower tones at amplified power beyond what the charging system is capable of delivering on demand. They are rapid "charge/discharge" devices in basic terms.

 

O I guess I jumped and assumed it was during music was playing.
