Volume Controls and Nav Problems

First off, I have the factory Bose system.

Volume controls: Lately, the volume controls on the wheel and the system itself don't work properly... The volume level changes on the screen, but the volume itself doesn't. Tried running SCV off/on, switching from Tape (I use cassette--aux adapter) to AM/FM, AM/FM to CD, etc., car on/off... None of those fix it. The volume just sometimes doesn't change, or sometimes doesn't change until I've gone through a large number of volume levels or I bring it down to 0, which mutes it.

Now for the Nav: Sometimes, when I push the button to bring up the Nav screen, the screen doesn't turn on. Restarting the car doesn't help, but it does seem that as long as I leave it closed when I turn off the car for the night, the Nav works the next day when I want to use it for the clock. I think that sometimes even if I leave the screen up, the Nav will work the next day, but that's not guaranteed.

Anybody else have any problems similar to these?
