My daughter's 05 coupe didn't have either door locks working. I could hear the actuators try to work, but no go.
After a lot of research on this forum, I decided to buy the $7.50 actuators and give it a try.
The video that I found was helpful in a lot of ways and other ways it was a complete guess on some things. However, they are done and work fantastic. Much better than going to the dealer and forking over hundreds of dollars. Gotta love the internet and this forum.
The only issue that I had with the aftermarket locks was the bracket that came with it. I went to Lowes and bought a similar thickness aluminum piece and bent the brackets to fit.
Couple that success with my $8 for 2 key fobs purchase and I have really accomplished something this week.
