installing components ...need help with xover

installing components ...need help with xover

I'm about to install my diamond audio hex's and was wondering where i should install the passive xover and also should i run new wires or is it possible to use the factory wires..... if anyone has done this type of install please share your experience.....thanks

As far as I know diamonds have big crossovers , so if you can find a place for them on front that is fine otherwise I would mount crossovers in the trunk and run new set of wires to for mid and tweeter , plus they need good amount of power to run properly so new wires would help.

what a pain in the a##

i'm gonna mount the crossovers in the trunk but i'm having a problem getting the wires ran in from the door to the car.... can anyone help here ...... it a real pain... never had so much trouble before.... thanks for the help guys

No space to mount them on the door somewhere under the doorpanel?

I don't know how big your passive xover is but this is where I mounted the Infinity 6000 Ref series xover on my door...........hope this helps

my xover is huge....i just mounted it next to the amps so i can adjust it also...
