Why don't all head units come with a simple, up front, audio jack (ie. 1/8'') to plug in our accessories?

1. Does the G have such a jack that is hidden? I use the built-in FM transmitter in my Neuros portable, but would rather use a jack.

2. Some threads have talked about the PAC box. The search tool won't let me search the site because the word is too short. Google didn't provide a site I could find for the manufacturer.

Can any one help with this?

Good question. My buddy has a Nissan Titan pickup truck that has a stock auxillary jack like that. Why can't our Gs?
The PAC is a device that hooks to the back of your stock radio in place of the satelite antenna. If you have SAT radio service in your car, you cannot use the PAC box. If you don't have SAT radio, you plug the PAC box into the SAT antenna port on the back of your player and then you have two RCA jacks you can hook other devices to. Then you can use the SAT button to toggle between input 1 and input 2. Most people hook up their DVD/AVbox to one input and then a MP3 player to the other.
The PAC box model is AAI-NIS, I believe. Do a search for that and you might find more.
It's a good device for less than $100. Install is kind of a pain though.
