Any installed radar pics???

I just bought a 2005 sedan and I'm interested in getting a radar detector. I'm in sales and will be driving upwards of 20K miles/year, so every little bit help. I'm looking for a very clean installation, as I don't want my clients to see wires and/or the unit when they ride in my car.

If any of you have a detector installed, I'd love to see some pics and to learn how easily you can take it up/down when you drive. The 2005 G35 sedan doesn't have a lot of 12v outlets either. I'm assuming I can use the cigarette lighter, although I'm disappointed that Infiniti doesn't realize that cars need more 12v outlets, not less. We have cell phones, PDA's, NAV's, MP3's, laptops, digital camera's, etc., and we need some freaking outlets for them!

Thanks in advance.

Bobby,
Something a little different then a V1 or 8500 install, but I think a very clean install and hardwired. Look here: http://mr2bob.com/page_3.htm

Here's a pic of my Passport 8500 X50 installed. I used the mount that Mike-something over on my350z.com sells for $20 and I hardwired it. I also made my own L-bracket instead of using the stock bracket because it shook a little too much. It is high and in the center of the windshield which is prob the best place for a radar, but it definitely isn't out of sight like you're looking for. For that you'd prob wanna go with a remote detector (a little more $) like the one G35Bob did.

I followed Speedoholic's installation... hidden and out of view. You can't see it unless you stick your head in the car. Might wanna evaluate this option if you want a "stealth" install.

I put the remote mount to the left of the shifter... so it's nice and accessible.
