Stereo sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Hats up guys I bought my G35 about 4 months ago and it had many electrical problems. I have got just about every single electrical problem fixed except for the radio, what happens is even though I turn the volume up it's still stays at "1". Now I've tried to full around with it every now and then, and have figured out that when I first start the car and immediately go to turn the radio up, the volume will go up to whatever I needed to, but 30 seconds later I can't change the volume after that and it stays at whatever I Stopped it at. Even when I go to turn the radio down, it will stay at that volume all the way until it hits "1". If I'm driving around for a couple hours and have the radio where I want it, it will eventually and suddenly just cut the volume out even when it is set at whatever number I set it at (usually 18) i'm not sure what this could be, either a wiring problem or possibly the amp. If you have any idea what this could be please let me know cause I am in dire need to actually listen to some music every now and then, and I am kind of tired of just listening to headphones.

The headunits in these cars are very failure prone, your issue is a bit unusual, but ultimately, replacing the radio is the way to go.
