Hey guys, so I’ve got an 03 sedan I swapped out the radio for an aftermarket single din worked great for a long time but started to have issues recently. It would periodically turn itself off then on after a bit, now it’s just gonna completely black (no power). Bought new radio thinking it was issue but no luck!. Went to check the fuse, it was still good but sparked when I put it back into the box under the hood..

Check and recheck all of your grounds to make sure they are solid. I'd check all of the wiring for the head unit while your at it and re-solder anything that looks suspect.
