Hey guys i was wondering if Double Din kit still be available for 2004 in the future. I will for sure upgrade the sound system in the future, since i mostly listen to vocal stuff and i want more clearity need better head unit right? But now i dun have the time and cash to do all at the same time so should I stock up the double din kit first for my 2004?

I don't ever foresee Nissan not producing anymore DD finishers unless somehow all 03-04 JDM skylines or US G35's get wiped off the face of the planet. BUT, they might be harder to get over time and more expensive once they get harder to obtain.....

when ordering what do you need? the dd finisher and a/c controller? do you need to get the bracket? this is on an 04

 

DD finisher, AC controller, and bracket. If you have dual climate control, then you'll want to read the DIY guide before having this done... soldering involved there. BTW, Grubbs gets the kit from Js garage. At least that's the impression the left me with when I was inquarying about my back-ordered finisher.

 

grubbs has the trim piece and the bracket, but how about the ac controller? anyone know where to get that?

Got my Double-DIN kit from J's Garage about a month ago - installed yesterday at my local Infiniti dealer. Very nice. I have an '04 sedan. Pictures:

Maybe a silly question, but I think all the DD installs I've seen on here are without factory nav. My 03.5 has nav and I'd like to know if these DD kits and brackets allow enough room for the factory nav display. If anyone knows pls post cause I gotta get rid of this stupid Blose system. By the way, got my 4080 box with Infiniti grill last week and looks awesome. Great job 4080! Unfortunately, my installer can't fit me in for the JL 500/1 install til next Friday. Will post pics when completed.
