Recommendations for Amp and Front Speakers

I have the factory Bose premium headunit, that I want to keep. I am looking for recommendations to replace my factory Bose amp and front speakers.

Looking for best quality sound, I listen to all music. I do like some good sounding bass. Its 2018, and I didn't want to take recommendations from old threads. Thanks!

If you're upgrading everything else, might as well do the head unit as well. Consider yourself lucky if you even have a working factory head unit. They are not reliable and have their flaws. An aftermarket one will be plug and play with an amp using simple rca cables. The bose headunit sends a different signal (balance differential) that a lot of amps will not take. I'm extremely happy will my JL component speakers in the front and JL 6x9 in the rear deck powered by a 450/4 JL amp. The tweeters are so crisp I honestly heard small detail noises that I never heard in songs. I left the rear side panels empty because most noise is deflected off the back glass rather than side to side in the rear. Just my .02 cents, do everything at once rather than little by little.

Yup...not worth keeping the crappy original stereo.

If you're taking your doors apart to install speakers, it's worth the effort to buy some CLD and MLV sound damping products and applying to the metal surfaces. Really helps the bass and reduces rattles as well as road noise when you're on the road.

I will have the doors dampened with dynamat, or something else.

Any recommendations for specific speaker + amp setup? Which speakers sound the best?
