Base model Aftermarket speakers
Base model Aftermarket speakers
What’s up guys I don’t usually scroll down this forum but thought I see what other are running as their door speakers. I have a base sedan with an aftermarket head unit. With the base sedan are all 4 doors 6.5s??
I’ve been looking at this SKAR audio package deal that’s said to fit. Are these just straight plug and play. What about the door tweeters? Are those just canceled out?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

If you'll start new threads in the appropriate sub-forum you're more likely get better, more complete responses. That being said I've moved it for you.
I'm actually working on a build for my coupe right now using some SKAR equipment.
I know my coupe uses 6.5s for doors and lower rears, but not sure about the sedan. You should be able to search that easily tho. Or use Crutchfield dot com as a source of information.
Regarding the tweeters, that really depends on what speakers you buy. No one here will know what is in the SKAR package without seeing it. However, if the speakers are components, that means they will have a separate Midbass driver, and tweeter like how the front doors are, but if the speakers are coaxial, then they will have the tweeter mounted on the center of the speaker so they are one unit.
I am not sure what speakers you are looking at per se, but they will likely need an amp to power them.
