I had to remove the new DDIN to fix the AntennaAMP/PowerAntenna wiring. Taking it in to a custom installer to make the DDIN flush for me.

I have removed DDIN, dash trim, shifter trim etc, my question is can I still drive the car? I realize that there will be no climate controls, only need to get it a short distance to the shop. Will it cause any electrical issues?

I know the heated seats (disconnected), the DDIN (disconnectied) and the climate controls (disconnected) will not function, but the car should run with out any electical damage?

I figure it it will, but thought I would check with the more expereinced.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I ran mine without the deck and climate controls while I was cutting up the trim and cutting down the circuit board for a custom radio install. Car ran fine for the 4-5 days I had it all out.

Car will run fine. I believe the blower will run continuously if the climate controls are unplugged.

It should stay at whatever setting it was on before unplugging

What Scorpi0 said. The blower will default to high when the climate control is unplugged,
