board that controls radio

What is the name of the board that controls the radio, tape and cd player called? I don't have any sound from my radio or players on my 2003 G35 coupe

It's the climate control and radio face. Do you have display but no sound? Could possibly be the amplifier also.

I have display but no sound. My a/c goes to max sometimes and I have to unhook the battery cable to get it to shut off. When it goes to max a/c by itself, I can't get any of the controls to work, thus having to unhook the positive battery cable. I called Infiniti and they said my vin number didn't qualify for the recall fix. I believe they call it a audio finisher board.

It could be the white FFC cable between the AC/Radio board and the CD changer. It provides power and would make the AC controls to do that if it disconnected.

audio finisher board

My a/c is stuck on auto ac and the temp is stuck at 75. I used to be able to disconnect the positive cable and it would reset. Now it still comes back on with the auto ac and the 75 temp. I quess i'm going to have to replace it. Does anyone know the best place to buy one and a quesstimate of the cost of one?
thanks

Thats with the Bose system. But if youre gonna go thru all that, then u might as well just install an aftermarket stereo.

It really depends what kinda functions youre looking for. I would stick with the big name brands though.

Also, if u wanna keep your steering wheel controls working then u will also need to wire in a kit for that as well.

https://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Inf...8041am813-.htm Are you familiar or connected to this site in some way? The reason I asked, the $ 164.30 board all of a sudden would cost me $ 904.73?

the link you sent me had an email. It was the infinitipartsusa.com that you had sent that showed the board for retail at $ 164.30. When I asked about one for my G 35 coupe, they quoted me the $ 900 some odd dollars for the board

someone told me later that it isn't even the board that is bad. It is the radio that is bad. The board is on the back side of the radio and the radio handles the air controller.

Just get an OEM used head unit and swap it out. That would be the easiest route.
