amp doesn't work when it's cold
My G35 stock amplifier stops working when it's cold. After sitting out in the sun the amp will work and sound will come out of the speakers. I had a diagnostic done that confirmed my suspicions about the amp.
Questions:

- Should I purchase a used amp replacement with a 90-day warranty?
- Should I purchase a more expensive aftermarket amp and additional installation?
- Should I try to insulate the amp somehow?
- Has anyone else experienced this?

Probably a loose or cracked solder in the amp which expands and makes contact when it gets hot.
Easiest option would be to replace the amp with a used one.
can u take thr amp apart and inspect the solder? Sometimes its an obvious crack.
