AWD disconnected & now doesn't work?

I have a 2007 G35x that I cut the orange wire at the AWD module to make it RWD. I am getting it ready for winter again. I connected the cut in the orange wire and took the car for a test drive and the awd light still comes on on the dash. I looked up on Identifix and it says there is a fuse for the AWD. Supposedly #33? But I can not locate the location of the fuse. I do remember when I cut the wire, I forgot to disconnect the battery and got a spark from the wire. Did I just blow a fuse or did I fry the AWD Solenoid in the transfer case. Any idea would help a great amount. Thanks

I think fuse #33 is located in the relay /fuse box that is right next to the battery.

Yeh the plastic cover doesn't have actual number locations. And none of the prefixes look like they stand for the AWD?

Here's the whole FSM: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Sedan/2007_G35_Sedan/

And here is the section that covers the fuses: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Seda...5_Sedan/pg.pdf
(see: PG-94 )

^^ You can see the numbering on that page

EDIT: On my '07 (a RWD model) that location is labeled "ETS" (which surely represents the ATTESA-ETS awd system) and there is no fuse present.

Thanks for the reply. On page 95 I see the power distribution module. Where is that located in the car? Only fuse boxes I can locate are next to battery and on drivers kick panel. Thanks

No problem, glad to help. For the benefit of anyone searching this thread in the future with the same problem, which fuse was it that turned out to be blown?
