Bose Amp

what type of amp can be a replacement for the Bose amp that the g35 comes with? Is it a 4 channel or 5?

Any aftermarket 4 channel amp will work. Its gonna take a bit of work to make it happen tho.

To bad someone doesn't make a Bose amp connectors so you can reuse the factory wiring. I'm installing a replacement two Rockford amps, one for the doors/rear and one going to drive two 10in subs. I wonder how long the factory speakers will last once you put some power to them.

You need one that take a differential-balanced signal, otherwise you may end up with about half the power and a lot more noise than usual. JL Amps take the differential-balanced signal, other brands are an amp-by-amp thing, so you'll have to do some research to find out if they can or can't take the signal.

Coupe should be 6 channel, sedan, 5 or 6, with the 6 channel having two bridged to power the sub.
