Nice install Pathfinder and great advice guys. Been reading every post. Trying to take it all in. I'll make sure to come back and post what I ended up having done.

Real quick... anyone know a good place to get the 05' stock 19" wheels chromed with a relatively short turnaround time?

Also any recommendations on mobile window tinters? Oh that brings up another question.... Two tinters I have called told me cali changed the law this year and that you can 70 percent tint on the front and passenger/driver-side windows. Is this BS or true?

i have 50% on my front windsheild, it helps alot but you cant really tell its there unless u really look at it. makes the car look more sleek. i also have 35% on the sides and 20% on the back. i like the over all look of it, not too dark to get pulled over, but still looks good. i ve had it for 2 months and no troubles from cops. got stopped once for no reason, but cop didnt say anything bout the tints. usually they are dicks in my area about the tints

I live in Northern Cali. I have no idea if the laws changed, but I have 50% front, 35% passenger/driver, and 15% rear 3. I had a couple of my Highway Patrol buddies tell me that they'd never notice if they weren't looking for it... especially if I rolled my windows down before the got to the car. As far as the Bose deck and JL is concerned, I know for a fact that the bose deck has some equalization before the amp. I spent a lot of time testing this with AudioControl's newest FSA. What's worse, when you LOC it and plug in after market amps, you start developing other issues IE: unreasonable sub bass roll off, gaps in fequencies (mostly sub bass and highs), and spikes in others (mostly mid bass and highs). Believe what you'd like, but seeing is believing. Run some tests with a good FSA before you blindly believe what JL has stated. Don't get me wrong... I have a lot of respect for JLAudio. I have just seen otherwise with my own eyes and done my own testing. I'm not trying to pick a fight, just telling you what I found out from my testing.

not able to do anything extra when working on the car. Installed spacers in the door to move speaker close to panel, still slightly hollow sound but got rid of rattle and it wasn't the speaker installed some extension cables for EQ so it could be brought up front to adjust from driver's seat and then put back in its mounted location with seperate a power plug.

Has anybody taken the outputs of the Bose deck and just added RCAs to the wires and used that (no LOC) ?

If you like AudioControl EQs, you can control their digital lines by a unit called the DDC. Brings all the controls to the driver's seat without having to move your eq.

suburban audio in oaklyn does really great work. I never go to them, but the only reason is cause I never have the money to spend on better audio. It always went to performance parts. But on my buddies navi, and his girls integra and a few other cars I was always impressed with the work and the prices.

OK
I think I finally decided....my new audio setup will be
- JL Audio 500/5 Amp
- JL Audio 10W6v2 10" Subwoofer in a 4080 Box
- Infinity Kappa 60.7CS 6-1/2" Component Speakers (Front)
- Infinity Kappa 63.7i 6-1/2" 3-way Speakers (Rear Side)

Cost $900 Plus Install Cost.

So what do you think huh?
