I have just recently purchased a 2004 G35 with bose audio to use as my daily and i would like to replace my head unit with a multi media system that will integrate well, keeping the steering wheel controls. I need to find a head unit that supports screen mirroring of an iphone so preferably with HDMI inputs, and ideally supports apple car play. i dont know anything about the wiring harness for this car and what units will and will not work. does anyone have any suggestions? the only one that i could fin was around $600. i have found other units that have HDMI but im not sure if they are compatible, and if they are how to go about finding the correct wiring harness.

All in I am about $1100 or something like that. Got the JDM kit, not the metra. I also picked up a backup cam. Backup cam is installed but have to put the head unit in. Hope to get to it within the next couple days. For the grand or so, should be a nice tech upgrade on the car. Mic will be hooked up for Siri and car play to.
