2010 G37x drains the battery
Hello all,
My 2010 g37x has an electrical problem. First, I thought it was the battery or the alternator. I took my car to two technicians and they descarted the alternator. I purchased a brand new battery from Costco. I had the same electrical issues within a few weeks. I am thinking that it has some electrical issue, I took my car to an autoshop and they could not find the problem. The mechanic did say that the problem was mechanical. For some reason, this electrical issue drains my new battery and, when I run the car daily, sometimes it starts, other times I have to use jumper cables. Any assistance/input would be much greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hook up a multimeter in series between your battery positive terminal and your positive cable. Set it to measure amperage. Do not start the car!!! You will overload the multimeter with too much amperage and fry it.
With the car off, how many amps is it showing? U can start pulling out fuses to see when the amperage draw stops or drops down to almost 0. Thatll give u an idea of which electrical system isnt conpletely shutting off.
