I believe so. Pull up the carpeting in the trunk to make sure. The plastic connectors come out easily with a small flat screwdriver.

OEM SAT receiver in canada

I was wondering if anyone has installed the xm sat receiver themself and manage to get service in canada. I live in canada and have a 2004 G35c already pre-wired and I am looking to buy an OEM xm sat receiver from the US ( for some reason it's not out yet in canada!) and get canadian XM SAT service. XM SAT radio just got announced in canada dec 1st!

I was quoted by dealer for $600 including parts & labor. Is this a fair price?

this is the average dealer price, but no, i wouldn't consider it fair. I bought the receiver and antenna from grubbs for $300 shipped. I haven't done the install yet, but i somehow doubt its $300 worth of labor.

Dealer installs run from $400-$800. $600 seems to be about the average, so I suppose its "fair." Keep in mind you can do a rear-deck install (no ugly outside anntena) for $300. It takes about 30-45 minutes to do tops. If you tried following the exact dealer install it could easily take several hours.

No, definitely not even close to fair. I bought the kit from Grubbs, they're having a special right now, for under 300 bucks. The install takes 15 minutes and a 9 year old could do it. If you want to know details just PM me.

Non-Bose Sirius

I have an 05 non-bose, I pulled the carpeting and I do have the plug for Sirius (6 pins on top, 10 on bottom) Also, just to confirm, there is no amp in that spot on the non-bose (must be behind the HU???)

Also, does anyone know the model # of the Sirius receiver unit for the G35?

Does anyone know if there is an adapter to connect to the trunk harness that would connect to the mini-plug for FM out on plug and play sirius receivers?

G35 6MT
yet another sirius tuner install. boy was it easy. talk about plug and play! it took me longer to route the antenna wire than anything else. i went through the rear deck, through a pre-existing hole (brake light), down toward the left and into the tuner. piece of cake! now if i could only figure out how to work it......
