For those who didn't get SAT with the car
OEM SAT receiver in canada
I was wondering if anyone has installed the xm sat receiver themself and manage to get service in canada. I live in canada and have a 2004 G35c already pre-wired and I am looking to buy an OEM xm sat receiver from the US ( for some reason it's not out yet in canada!) and get canadian XM SAT service. XM SAT radio just got announced in canada dec 1st!

Dealer installs run from $400-$800. $600 seems to be about the average, so I suppose its "fair." Keep in mind you can do a rear-deck install (no ugly outside anntena) for $300. It takes about 30-45 minutes to do tops. If you tried following the exact dealer install it could easily take several hours.

Non-Bose Sirius
I have an 05 non-bose, I pulled the carpeting and I do have the plug for Sirius (6 pins on top, 10 on bottom) Also, just to confirm, there is no amp in that spot on the non-bose (must be behind the HU???)
Also, does anyone know the model # of the Sirius receiver unit for the G35?

yet another sirius tuner install. boy was it easy. talk about plug and play! it took me longer to route the antenna wire than anything else. i went through the rear deck, through a pre-existing hole (brake light), down toward the left and into the tuner. piece of cake! now if i could only figure out how to work it......
