Hey, I live in ny and am interested in this. So you have a switch that lets you control which HU is functioning? I assume if you are using the Navi, then theres no use of the CD Player at the same time? Also, what was your install cost? Thanks.

If you could post some more pics that would be great.

Looks like the unit sticking about an inch out of the cubby...when the monitor is closed is it flush with the cubby lid?

First let me apologize if I ask stupid questions. Most of this is over my head as far as self install.

I am interested in getting either the Pioneer D1 or N2. Now, from this post, does it mean the N2 can fit in the cubby and we would not have to get the double din??

Also, with the unit in the cubby, can we still add on things such as back-up camera, voice ativation? Or does it not matter?

If I went with putting the N2 under the AC unit, can i put in a CD changer under the N2 (instead of a pocket?). If yes, is there a CD changer that plays mp3/wma cds?? i did a search online and couldn't find much. if i understand it correctly, it looks like the pioneer cd changers don't play mp3 cds??

Finally, does anyone know of a good place to go to install in Dallas. From this board, i've been told to avoid best buy, circuit city. But those are the authorized dealers listed on the pioneer website.

Thanks!
