i installed my N1 using the double-din dash kit from Japan.... the kit was $400 but was well worth it. Wiring was easy, just needed 2 harnesses and 1 antenna adapter

Yes that's where I got it done...those guys are super human when it comes down to custom installs...not to mention their work is quality, nothing rushed, all soldered connections etc

The reason I opted for the "Hidden Navi" install is because I wanted to keep the stock look and I few months ago a friend of mine went to an event in the city only to return to his ride and find someone ripped his dash apart because they saw his N1 sticking out from his double din conversion...he had tint so you would think the unit would be visable

yeah I read all that, was just wondering why nobody seems to just but their units where the orgianals are. Don't get me wrong I like the way yours looks but for 1100 plus the unit it's self is kind of high. I basicaly was asking if prople had pics of the N! or any other DVD indash units they could post so I could see how tey look. I saw yours and I saw one the looked how your friends probley look, but that's it so far.
PS how did the get into your friends car?

OK cool, yeah come to think of it I have yet to see a N installed in a double din other than my friends whip. Those bastards "pinched" his passenger side window then they must have crawled in.

Pinched: to place a sharp sturdy object in between the glass and door frame then apply enough pressure to shatter a window.
