Question Adding XM Satellite Radio to 2004 Sedan

I have a 2004 G35 Sedan prewired for Satellite. I purchased a XM Commander and have two questions. How do you wire the tuner to the satellite harness in the trunk? ie. is there a kit or do I pull a McGyver? Also, I'd appreciate any comments regarding mounting the tuner. Thanks!

Your Commander will not work in an integrated way with the G35's prewire. Only Infiniti OEM XM (or Sirius) receivers are designed to fully integrate with the car's headunit, providing text display and control, including steering wheel control.

If you wish to use the Commander, your best option is to purchase a device which will permit aux audio input to the headunit only. These devices may work via the Sat prewire, but only provide line audio, not control.
