My Custom TV in the Dash

those pics are hella dark. i can't make out much. but it looks like a nice setup.

custom TV

Looks cool...how did you mount the unit and what kind of display did you use???

its a clarion monitor and it was just molded into the dash and bondo smooth. I'm looking to do a 10" the same way

I love the relocation of the Hazard button into the upper glove box. I do like the setup overall, but I think the gloss black stands out way to much! Should have painted it flat black or a black to match the dash.

The pics dont do it justice, it looks 10x lot better in person. Every person to get in the car seem to like it better now than when I had it titanium. If I do another panel again I think I may go back to titanium but I do like the way it looks now.

thats a good idea about the shiny black paint, only drawback is that everything looks so freakin dark now! I bet it looks MUCH better in person as you said.

How much room is there behind the ashtray area? it looks like you have a whole deck in there, but did you have to cut or remove anything from there to make room?

I am trying to put an mp3 controller in that location. do you have any more pics of the install?

theres alot of room, theres a plastic peice that you will have to do some cutting away

Did you buy the jdm ac controller and double din? Or is that the stock piece just with the stereo taken out.

Yeah that looks much better than Titanium... I hated that titanium fake aluminum... thats one of the reasons I got the 05. That must have taken ages to do. It looks really nice. Screen is big and you dont have to see the 04 stock ugly casette player stereo.
