Noisy CD player
When the CD is playing, there is a repetitive "tick tick tick tick" coming from the player. Sounds like an old film reel. The sound goes away when performing other CD functions, like moving to another track, or another CD.
Do this: Sit parked in a quiet area (like your garage) with the car off and play a CD. Turn the volume to 1. You'll hear the "tick tick tick". Then turn the volume to 0. The sound will go away. Turn it back up to 1, it comes back.
Is this normal?
