stealth amp install?

my sub and amp should be here this week and I'm trying to plan out where I can do a stealth install of the amp. Anyone have any good suggestions? It's only a JL 250/1 so its not too large:
10.25"L x 9.25"W x 2.36"H

Your question is my question. I want to replace the bose with a small aftermarket amp, but I also want my XM radio and an Equalizer to straighten out the output from the Bose headunit. But I don't want to lose the spare or nail everything to the back seat. I'm hoping it can all fit where the bose amp is presently mounted, but this may be wishful thinking.

I have my RF amp where the stock amp is. So yours should fit too. You can only fit 1 amp there though.

I need to keep my stock amp too though I was hoping I could mount the jl on the other side of the stock bracket, not really sure though I haven't got to rip everything apart. Can anyone give me a rough estimate of install time too? I have to go home wednesday night from school for an interview so I'm hoping I can get it done then. I've installed stereo equipment before so I'm thinking like an hour and half or so, does that seem feasible?

My stock amp is still there. The RF amp is just on top of that. So I the the JL will have no problem as well.

there's a metal brack that mounts the stock amp upside down. You can mount your new amp on top of that.

where is the stock amp? any jpgs out there?

I too just bought (ordered) a JL250/1 with 10" woofer for my 4080 box. Where is the stock amp, and can the JL250/1 go on top of it, or will it fit in the space between the 4080 box and the rear seat on the side of the trunk? The JL250/1 my dealer had was bolted on the wall of the store, so I could not carry out to check for size in my trunk. Also, it was dark, and I have no clue where the stock bose amp is.

i took one look at the the JL500/1, and decided no way, too big. I'm sure the JL250/1 will be be fine.

I HAD the same issue...and just stuffed my amp under the carpet for now....I, on the other hand, have a 500 watt JL amp..and its much bigger......

I'm wondering if ANYONE out there is willing to make a stealth box for the otherside of the trunk to hold the AMP and give it a perfect finish...I do have a 4080 box on the otherside....and it looks awesome...I do not want to screw the amp to the back of the seat...aghhhh

Yes, the stock amp is under the plastic to the left of the spare tire. My RF 501S fit fine, and hte dimention is 12-1/16w x 2-3/8 H x 9-7/8d. So, unless the width is not super long, like 20+", it should be fine.
