We have an office in Addison, we make deliveries once per week. I can put one of the boxes on the next truck. PM me for more info.

12w7

4080, I am interested in using the 12W7 and understand the box may stick out into the spare tire space. I can live with that and I think many members here would live with it too. Please give me the option of the 12W7. Again, I am not concerned with it pertruding into the trunk. Thanks.

4080 BOX is awesome!

I recently received and installed a 4080 box and it is awesome. The quality of the fit and finish is first rate. The box looks like it was installed at the factory. The carpet colr is a perfect match.

To all the guys trying to stuff a 12" woofer in it, i would not bother. I installed a 10" MTX RT1004 ($60 from circuit city) powered by a 350W amp and I am getting incredible tight bass. With a higher end 10" woofer and more power you would obviously get more. I have the stock Bose system still functioning, with the missing low end now taken care of.

On a previous post 4080 stated that the volume of the box is about .85 cu ft The MTX I installed is designed for a .8 cu ft sealed inclosure.

^^Out of curiousity how did you tap into the Bose system. I am too displeased with the lack of low end in the Coupes and have been looking for something similar to what you did. I know that PAC makes a module that you can plug into the back of the head unit but I don't wish to rip apart the dash to get at it. Does someone make a plug-and-play unit that can be tapped at the amp?

Thanks,
Jason

You will need a Pac stepdown, SNI-15 is # model I think. You can connect this adapter to the factory bose subwoofer wires. The adapter will get its signal from the bose speakers, convert it to a low rca signal, output the signal via two RCA plugs on the back of the unit, and then the RCA wires will be connected to your sub woofer amp.

I know I can get a standard stepdown LOC but what I am looking for is something simliar to the PAC AOEM-NIS2 but instead of plugging into the head unit I want it to be able to plug into the amplifier in the trunk. It make it so I don't need to rip apart the dash as well as run any RCA's to the trunk from there.

I guess I should have said what I have. I have a 2005 Coupe 6MT so it doesn't have a factory sub.

Thanks,
Jason
