So sick of people acting helpless around here.
is your friend! Try typing in "What does ohm mean?" and see what happens. It's like magic!
Then try searching the audio forums here and look at the COUNTLESS installs of subs and amps. Guess what? The people even COMMENT about how well the system sounds (or how bad it sounds).
Amazing this thing called the Internets....
It's aggravating dude. I just spent the better part of an afternoon searching for info on my new DD install on my G. I probably read over 20+ threads and even sent a few PM's to guys that have similar setups. Even the ones I PM'd were educated questions though, stuff that's very specific.
I'm waiting for one more cable and to get my center console back from the paint shop and I'm ready to go!

damn stfu. I'm so sick of people telling me to search. I've tried a search and didn't find anything. Is it that hard for you to type the meaning of something? If u got notin to say just don't comment or just ignore me. ****ing people.
Reason why it's hard to find answers is because the question is being asked many times, and many people are just asking over and over again. Google/wikipedia/howstuffworks are all great sources to get information. Also, with a lot of the information on forums, although it's most of the time its good, you're not going to get a really good feel for what the person is really trying to explain. Your questions you asked should really be asked in person to stereo shop personnel, they will be able to give you the answers, point out why there is different impedance ratings (ohm), how they work etc.
Would you buy a car online? only if you're retarded. however you can research the car, find out what options it comes with, ball park figure of price, and an idea of how reliable it will be. But once you get there you may find that you don't like the way it rides. Or that the price isn't the same as what you researched etc etc. You have to research yourself both hands on and on the net. People nowadays need to end their spoon feeding session. Me included.

What are ohms? Are you serious? Really?
Use Google. It's your friend. No joke. Did you EVEN take the opportunity to type in "what is an ohm" in Google?
I have tried to google the meaning of ohm and still dont have a clue what that means. This forum is for helping people and your sure not gonna help by telling me to search. So just stfu and dont even talk to me.
Can somebody try to explain the meaning of ohm in easier term? like which is better 2 or 4ohm.? and why?
thanks.

tried wiki yet? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm)
Less ohms pretty much means less resistance to current flow ... which means more power required from the amp...
the more ohms...the cleaner the sound, but this also means the less the RMS power (RMS is sound output before distortion)
Double ohms...means half the RMS power..

ok, so I emailed the guy at 4080 enclosures but never received a reply. I've also done a bit of searching but couldn't find the answer.
Do they make, or does the sedan box currently available fit the 2009 G37 sedan? I really would like to add a sub but want a tasteful look and this 4080 enclosure would achieve that.
Thanks
JJ
