CD player issue

Ok, this is kind of weird, was wondering if it had happened to anyone else.
I was driving my G today, and had been driving for about an hour, listening to a CD. I then hit the number 4 button to switch to the number 4 CD, so it makes its usual noise and displays the correct CD number. It got to CD number 4, tried to play it, couldnt, and then switched to Cd number 5. It then couldnt play CD number 5, so it went to Cd number 6. It went through every CD and couldnt play any of them, when the minute before it was fine. I tried satellite radio, and that worked fine. When i hit the CD function, it just cycles through all teh CD's and cant play any of them. Has this happened to anyone else? I tried stopping the car, shutting off, and restarting, but nothing helped, it is still doing it.

Any suggestions?
(I had already made a service appt for my car for friday, luckily, so they can look at it then. But was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or anyone knew what the problem could be.)

Thanks
-Mike

That happened to me awhile back. The dealer didnt know why it was doing it. They just told me it was doing it due to heat. But since it was still under warrenty, they just gave me a new one.

ya im hoping if they cant fix it they will give me a new one, the car is an 04 and has about 7500 miles on it. It couldnt be because of heat, its about 40-50 degrees outside this time of year.
