Help!!

Ok, i had a dvd player installed right underneath my glovebox...its connected to two visor tv monitors... the player has back up cam installed as well as Tv tuner..he installed a attenna thas on my windshield, which has bad reception as it is but anyway... He installed a SWITCH to change from listening to the dvd player to my Radio... i guess the dvd player had to be on a certain FM station in order to hear it...the switch apparently only works to hear the player..it does not work for my radio, now my radio has VERY POOR reception, cant even hear it at all sometimes... Unfortunately the guy is now out of the country......anyone know where i can go to get this fixed? or know what the problem is?

I don't know how to help you, but it sounds complicated enough to make anyone flee the country - good luck.

Is this the stock radio you're talking about? Try pulling the fuse or cutting the power to the DVD player see if that makes a difference.... If it helps the radio then the dvd is somehow interfearing with the radio (poor hook ups). If this doesn't help he may have cut into the antenna for the radio or something. This is a wiring problem and you will need to learn the wiring or find someone who knows it...

Sounds like he left the antenna plug disconnected at the back of the HU.

You need to get rid of the FM modulator that the dvd player is hooked up to now and put in a PAC aux adaptor so you can hear the dvds thru the sat input on the radio. My shop is an hour from you in Mission Viejo. We can do it for you. Call Josh or Yasha at 949-364-6464.
