CD Player Trouble

Yesterday my CD player decided to take a vacation. It's giving me an error message: "CD ERR FO". It seems to be telling me to "F*** Off" but I'm sure that can't be right.

(A) Has anyone else run into this problem and
(B) Has anyone found a cure?

Thanks for the help.

Bob

I have the same thing going on right now.

Every once in a while it wll start working agian.

But as soon as I go to remove a disc It reads "Searching Disc"
then goes to cd err fo....

The dealer is ordering me a new one.....the dealer told me this
is the only fix.

And that this is a common problem.

Call your dealer.........or change out the headunit...its a pain......but i'm going to do it this fall in mine.

But for now i will take the new one from the dealer.

OK, thanks. Seems this isn't exactly a rare problem.

its rare to have audio unit problems on the first batch of 03 g's. After the car became such a hit, infiniti looked to cut corners wherever possible and told the manufactur (clarion) to cut costs whereever possible. Then end result is crappy audio units. Its not uncommon to get a remanufactured unit and they are also bad units. Bottom line is they are junk.
