Got a new head unit *pics*

My Preimer HU had a faulty preout, so instead of getting it fixed I decided to get the Alpine 9855. I then found out that it works with the Ipod interface adapter so I spent another $100 to get it (my money managing skills are excellent )







The glidetouch strip takes getting used to, I would rather have buttons, but I like it nonetheless. The ipod adapter is mounted under the passenger seat and the Ipod sits in the glove box

i Like it a lot . amber is nice
what is the rest of the system ?

The 9835 and 9855 are the same model, minus the buttons on the 9855.. I went to great lengths to get the buttons

Very nice, I love Alpine. How does the amber of the Alpine match with the Infiniti amber???

Actually. the Alpine offers 512 different color shades. There's probably about 8-12 different orange/ambers that could work. On my 9835, I set it at color #48.

I have the same head unit..thanks to the guys at Sound Advice.


I was thinking about getting the Ipod unit...was it easy to hook up?

i have no use for the Ipod's display. all the info appears on the HU

yup, just plug and play. and mounting the unit of course.

ryan, very nice setup! i had an alpine in my old accord, the alpine model right before the mp3 capability... alpines are awesome!
