After market Nav in my 04' G35?
After market Nav in my 04' G35?
Hey,
I just bought my 04' G35 two days ago, it does not have navigation in it and I wish it did. Is it possible for me to still have it installed? If so, what are the best kinds and what kind of money should I be expecting to spend? Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Justin

Your out of luck. There is only one person I have read about on this board that has retrofit the stock nav into a non-nav vehicle. It did not appear to be easy. I inquired about the same thing from my local infiniti dealer and they would not touch it. Your best bet is to do the double-din conversion and get an aftermarked nav installed professionally from a good shop. Just search on the double-din. I believe there is a sticky thread at the top of the audio, video, sat, nav topic.
King, go check out this webpage http://www.g-owners.com/article_read.asp?id=33
the dd kit costs about $400 and is ordered for japan...
this double din aftermarket head unit i put in is an Eclipse AVN 2454, it has navi, dvd, cd, fm, am, mp3, touch screen... it costs around $2000
i also kept my steering wheel controls by buying a pac swi-x interface
