If you have an 03/04 g35, see here: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/54447-digitalwheelz-2-0-pics-inside.html

There not available yet, but they should start selling again around June 6th.

The digitalwheelz g35 screen housing is just a screen. You have to provide device that hooks up to it. It comes with RCA, VGA, and USB touchscreen inputs so it can be hooked up to pretty much anything with a video output you want... computers, nav systems, DVD players, rear view cameras, etc.

Quote: That is awesome, i was thinking of doing this also.. where in FL?

Questions about your mod.

1.did the DVD player fit perfectly lenght wise? or did you have to cut the console.?
No, it did not fit at all. I had to tear the unit apart, cut off the back of it, remove ALL the plugs and solder pigtails on them, and then actually grind down the back of the circuit board. Also, I had to relocate the stock air bag controller, because its conviently located right under where the DVD player mounts. Also, I had to cut out the rear console bracket and fab new supports. Oh, and my DVD player isn't ven hooked up to my Navi yet! BTW, I'm in Ohio, but I sponsor the FGC.

Quote: 2. Is you DVD player working without problem being vertical.? A guy from Audio advice said they will not last long, something to do with the laser.
Why I have heard they will skip more in this position I don't think it will hurt the unit. I haven't seen my car since Dec. so who knows if it is even still in it! As soon as I get the car back I will install my navi converter and see how it all works!

I think you will have a hard time finding a shallower DVD player, a DVD itself is not much smaller then my unit. Who knows though...

The air bag controllers is in a metal box with a harness on it. You won't hurt it by moving it, but you will need a special big security Torx bit (t45s I think). The function of the unit is to decide when and which air bags to deplay, I assume. I didn't really move it, I just unscrewed it and turned it out of my way. My airbags still work too, I can vouch for two of them from personal contact...

Oh, in addition, on my particular unit the front display was too wide to fit in, so I had to either sand down the center console, or file down the front bezel of the DVD player. With a broad file I was able to smoothly trim the bezel down enough to fit.

It took me, in total, about two days of working to get the DVD player mounted and powered up! As long as you take your time though, it wasn't too bad.

2. Where did u run the wires to the drive? ( from the back of hte glovebox?) if so do u have trouble closing the box?
3. How is the sound with the FM modulation??

Thanks for all the help.. ill keep an update on how the install is going.
So far, A local custum shop can get me the NavTV for $399.
One of the employee also has an 03' G35 and has NavTV on his and works great.. He has his DVD mounted underneath the glove.
And the reason why I dont want to install my DVD in the lower glove box, I need to a place to put my personal protection.
You sure its going to work? Make sure to ask if its successfully worked on an 05 before you go through with it. If I recall, the NavBox is the same thing as the PAC VCI-X.
