Let us know how it goes. I have a 05 Coupe, and would love to swap out the speakers but I'm getting an amp, so the speakers will have to work with the stock non-bose stereo pretty well...

Well I have it all in now and it sounds great. The basslink brings in the lows and the Infinity tweeters just scream even with the stock Bose amp. I used 1" spacers on the front and rear speakers to bring them out like the Bose plastic things. I still need to dynamat the trunk (it is rattling hard with the Basslink) but just wanted to button it up and listen to it when I was done.

Derzigster,

I always thought the 6x9's in the back were low frequency only? Are they full range and are yours running at full frequency? I never actually took the time to sit back there and look at them or listen to them so I don't know...

Any pics of the install and setup? How do you like the balance of the new speakers and the basslink?

Gernard

I used 1" spacers in the dooes and the back to bring the speakers to the same level as the stock Bose speakers.

Any update on the rear 6x9 situation? Do they only play lows from the bose amp or? Everywhere on here that I read I see that. It doesn't make much sense to replace them with coax 6x9's. I have some that I'd like to throw in there though.
