if i do purchase a Eclipse AVN2454 i was wondering how the sound system is. . . . 50 watts max isnt that much in my opinion. I was wondering how i could upgrade the sound system. Is it possible to get an amp and other speakers along wit the Eclipse AVN2454? That is including 2 or 4 channel amps, not just for subs. sorry if this is a rookie question. . . . . sorry and thank you. =)

 

Yeah, you can add amps to the AVN2454, but if I were you, I'd purchase the newer AVN models, such as the 5435. It has 5 volts preout as opposed to the 2454's 0.8 volts.

 

yea.. sonner is right.. i wanted to change to avn5435 but no one wanted to buy my avn 2454... It does have a better preout though!

sound QUALITY, i think... the 2454 isnt bad at all

 

as long as it's better than stock then I don't care, I got it for the nav and dvd player mostly....

 

Can you make the 5435 play dvd's while driving? Like, with switches or whatever?

 

using an aux port i think you can...

 

i heard someone here just grounded the parking brake wire, as with the 2454, and it worked!!

he didnt even use the switches!
