frustrating amp/sub install

i've tapped before and after the bose amp and the new sub isnt working at all, the only thing i can think of is that i either have a bad LOC or i've hooked the loc up to the incorrect wires. i'm thinking that the second assumption is probably more accurate. i've spent hours searching this forum and the only answers i can find to this question include images that no longer work since the update or people telling the other posters "search the forums". If someone knows, please, im begging here! which are the correct wires to tap the LOC to when connecting before the amp. 2005 g35x. bose amp is mounted on trunk roof. thanks for helping a noob out! i'll include an image of the wires leading to the amp. the ones i tapped were black/silver and white/silver from the white plug.
sorry for the blurry image. i can take a better one if needed.

Hi,
Sorry to hear about the problem. This is just my opinon/things i would do.

First check a few things:
all fuses (amp & car) and power to the amp.
If this checks out reconnect the amp wiring and make sure everything STOCK works then tap the rear speaks (from the speaker connectors) to the LOC.
check LOC/Amp level settings

Good Luck!

i assume you are tapping into the rear speakers...

i have a 2003 coupe, so i don't know if this applies, but the wiring color is as follows:

Rear Right + is blue
Rear Right - is pink

Rear Left + is violet
Rear Left - is purple

these wire colors are BEFORE the bose amp

i got this from the following diagrma, not from personal experience...

hope this helps

Thanks guys for your help. I got it to worked about 2 hours after the original post. I guess i had some loose wires or something. I disconnected all wires except for power and reconnected. Fired right up. Need to tune it in a little better tomorrow. I cant wait to get the Cleansweep from JL, this stock deck sends some horrible sound to the amp. Right now i've taken the signal before the amp and ran that into both the right and left connector for the LOC. Maybe i'll tap into the L and R speakers from the doors instead, might be a cleaner signal. Hmmmmm thoughts!

Using an AOEM-NIS2, which provides RCA outputs, the signal is very clean and clear. The stock HU is quite good as far as noise/distortion (though the EQ is off).
